The Jimmy Flowers Putter Company was conceived in 1938 when my grandfather was having, what is commonly referred to as, a putting slump.  No matter what putter he tried, he was still missing puts which he felt, he should have been making. So, if he could not find a putter that was working form him, he would design his own.  And thus, was the beginning of over 50 years of  hand crafting one of the finest precision Golf putters sold in that era.  His first model of the ever popular #555 of which he sold over 100,000.  He would often tell me, "Charlie,  you drive for show, but you have to put for the dough!"  Your short game is where the money will be won or lost in any Golf tournament!

During the lifetime of the company, Jimmy Flowers designed over 40 models of putters which were sold exclusively through Golf Professional.  The list of pros who have used Jimmy Flowers style putters could easily qualify for any Hall Of Fame.  Chick Harbert, Cary Middlecolf, Ed and Marty Furgol, Jimmy Thompson, Porky Oliver, Horton Smith, Jimmy Demaret, Ben Hogan, Bryon Nelson, Julius Boros and everyone's favorite Arnold Palmers
